Description
Join us at Nayax, a global fintech leader (NASDAQ; TASE: NYAX) revolutionizing the world of cashless payments, consumer engagement, and business management solutions. With more than 1,200 employees across 12 offices worldwide. At Nayax, you’ll be part of a diverse and innovative community where your work makes a real impact and helps shape the future of payments.
We are currently looking for a Product Manager – Unattended Retail to take a central role in shaping our product line in the unattended retail space, with a focus on micro market, kiosk, and smart cooler solutions — including the payment experience that comes with them — alongside ongoing work with the US market and strategic (T1) accounts.
The role combines product management — market understanding, shaping direction and prioritization, writing requirements, and close collaboration with R&D — with involvement in project management for large accounts and ongoing work with our US team. The exact scope of responsibility, and how it's divided between the different products, will continue to take shape and evolve based on business needs.
Over time, the scope of the role may expand to additional products in our portfolio as well.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Product Management (the core focus of this role)
• Full ownership of the roadmap for our micro market, kiosk, and smart cooler solutions, including feature prioritization and release planning.
• Leading the development and expansion of our smart cooler solution, including defining integration requirements with Nayax's technology stack.
• Writing product requirement documents (PRDs, BRDs, User Stories) and working closely with R&D to ensure correct implementation.
• Deep market understanding: trends in the unattended retail space (micro markets, vending, smart coolers) in the US market, competitive analysis, and positioning.
• Partnering with Sales and Marketing on pricing, positioning, and communicating product value to customers.
• Potential future expansion of scope to include ownership of the ECR product.
2. Payments and the Unattended Checkout Experience
• Deep understanding of payment flows in unattended retail — payment methods, contactless, mobile wallets, and a smooth, fast checkout experience.
• Close collaboration with Nayax's payments/acquiring teams to ensure a secure, reliable payment experience at every customer touchpoint.
• Understanding of fraud, decline, and chargeback challenges in unattended transactions, working together with Risk and Compliance teams.
• Factoring payment considerations (fees, FX rates, local payment methods) into product specification and pricing decisions.
3. Project Management with Strategic (T1) Accounts
• End-to-end management of implementation and rollout projects with strategic US clients (T1), critical to the retail business and to Nayax as a whole.
• Building work plans and timelines, and managing risks and blockers with large, complex accounts.
• Ongoing, close collaboration with our US team, alongside coordination with the local Israeli team (R&D, support, management).
• Regular reporting on product and project status to management and strategic clients.
4. Cross-Timezone Work (Israel–US)
• Ongoing work with the US market and team, requiring overlap with US business hours.
• No expectation of 24/7 availability, but there will be times when work is needed outside standard Israeli business hours, depending on project needs.
• Flexible working hours (e.g., a later start to the day) to allow for comfortable overlap with the US.
5. Working with AI Tools (Claude and similar)
• Using advanced AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) for requirement writing, product documentation, requirement analysis, and prioritization — a core, inseparable part of how this role works.
• Ability to use AI as a thinking and writing aid, without replacing professional judgment.
Requirements
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Professional Experience
• Required: 2+ years of product management experience at a technology, hardware, or software company.
• Required: Experience writing product requirement documents, such as PRDs, BRDs, User Stories, functional specifications, use cases, or acceptance criteria.
• Strong advantage: Experience managing projects with strategic/enterprise clients.
• Strong advantage: Experience in unattended retail — vending, micro market, IoT devices, payment devices.
• Strong advantage: Experience in payments — acquiring, payment methods, or payment devices.
• Strong advantage: Experience working with the US market and US-based clients.
English
• Required: Excellent written and spoken English — for ongoing work with US clients and team.
• trong advantage: Native English speaker with an American background — a genuine understanding of American culture, communication style, and nuance, beyond language fluency alone.
Technical Skills
• Required: Hands-on experience working with advanced AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) as part of day-to-day work.
• Advantage: Ability to understand integrations, APIs, and data flow between hardware and software systems.
• Fast learner of new products and technology systems.
Personal Skills
• Solid hands-on experience and a strong grasp of product management — not entry-level, but not required to be a top-level expert either.
• Comfortable working independently in a not-yet-fully-defined environment, with products that are still taking shape.
• Flexibility with working hours and comfort with cross-timezone work.
• Excellent interpersonal communication with US and Israeli clients, partners, and teams.
• Analytical thinking, prioritization skills, and decision-making under uncertainty.
• Proactive approach and ability to lead processes end to end.
