Description
DealHub.ai helps businesses own their revenue. Its Agentic Quote-to-Revenue platform brings quoting, approvals, contracts, subscriptions, billing and buyer collaboration into governed revenue workflows.
As AI changes how revenue work gets done, the question is no longer just how to automate a quote. It’s how to shape a viable deal around what a customer needs—and carry it through the revenue lifecycle under the rules a business sets.
We’re looking for a Head of Brand & Narrative to shape how DealHub AI tells that story.
This role is for a strategic storyteller with exceptional writing craft—someone who can find the most important idea in a complex business, give it a clear point of view, and turn it into stories people understand and remember. You’ll develop DealHub’s company and category narrative, brand voice, and creative direction, then help carry them into campaigns, executive communications, social, PR, and other customer-facing work.
You’ll move between strategy and the work itself: setting the narrative direction, developing the message architecture, writing and editing important pieces, and guiding creative partners and teams. You’ll build the brand function’s capabilities while working closely with Product Marketing, which owns product positioning and product accuracy, and with channel leaders, who own activation and performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Define DealHub’s company and category story. Build a distinctive point of view on how AI is changing revenue work and what businesses need from the systems that support it.
• Turn strategy into a narrative system. Develop the core story, message architecture, proof points, voice, and practical guidance teams can use across the business.
• Make complex ideas clear and compelling. Translate AI, CPQ, commercial logic, and quote-to-revenue workflows into language that is precise, human, and relevant to business leaders.
• Write and edit the work. Shape high-visibility narratives and content yourself, from executive talk tracks and campaign concepts to announcements, social posts, and customer stories.
• Guide brand and creative direction. Set standards for how DealHub looks, sounds, and feels, and brief internal designers, writers, agencies, and other partners to deliver against them.
• Lead brand campaigns and awareness programs. Develop the brand idea and creative direction in partnership with campaign and channel owners, and help ensure the work builds recognition and reputation.
• Support executive storytelling and thought leadership. Help leaders express DealHub’s point of view through speeches, interviews, bylines, events, and other moments that shape market understanding.
• Find stories in company and customer evidence. Turn product milestones, customer outcomes, and market changes into credible stories—not just a series of announcements.
• Bring the narrative to life across teams. Partner with Product Marketing on product stories and proof, and with social, content, revenue marketing, events, and design teams to make the company story coherent across touchpoints.
• Build and evolve the brand function. Create useful standards, processes, and capabilities that raise the quality and consistency of the work without slowing teams down.
• Learn from the market. Use customer insight, brand health, awareness, and campaign results to sharpen the narrative and improve its impact.
Requirements
• Have substantial experience in brand, narrative, communications, or integrated marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology.
• Are an exceptional writer and editor, with the ability to move from a strategic point of view to sharp, channel-appropriate copy.
• Have built or substantially sharpened a company or category narrative, rather than only maintaining an established one.
• Can make technical or complex ideas accessible without flattening their meaning.
• Bring strong strategic judgment and creative taste, and can explain why a story matters to the business and its audiences.
• Can set direction and work hands-on: writing a draft, improving a brief, guiding a creative review, or helping a team bring an idea to market.
• Know how to influence across teams and establish shared direction when people have different priorities and expertise.
• Are comfortable working in a growing technology company where the market, product, and story are evolving.
• Use evidence and audience insight to make the story more credible, while recognizing that the strongest narratives need more than a list of features and proof points.
Advantages
• Experience developing executive communications, thought leadership, PR, or corporate storytelling.
• Experience directing brand campaigns and creative partners.
• Experience building brand standards, voice systems, or narrative frameworks that teams actually use.
• Familiarity with AI and the changing expectations around enterprise technology.
How the role works with other teams
The Head of Brand & Narrative owns DealHub’s company and category narrative, brand voice, and strategy. Product Marketing owns product positioning, messaging, and product accuracy. Channel and campaign leaders own channel plans, execution, and performance. This role brings those efforts together through a coherent company story and helps teams express it well in their work.
