Senior DevOps Engineer and SRE Lead

Description Upstream delivers a cloud-based, AI-powered behavioral intelligence platform for physical AI and smart mobility. Upstream empowers customers with advanced AI-driven cybersecurity solutions, including detection and response (XDR), AI Security, quality and operational intelligence, cyber threat intel, SOC services, and more. Upstream is looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer and SRE Lead to join our operations team, leading the reliability, scalability, and performance of our production environments. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will take ownership of our production infrastructure, drive initiatives to improve system availability and operational efficiency, and lead the development and implementation of infrastructure tools and automation solutions at the edge. You will proactively identify and resolve complex operational challenges, optimize system performance, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a stable, secure, and scalable production environment. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Herzliya, Israel. Responsibilities • Implement and operate a high scale Kubernetes & Cloud solutions • Implement and operate cloud infrastructure in AWS / Azure / GCP • Monitor customer infrastructure and environments • Rollout processes for new services & applications in our infrastructure • Enforce and maintain Cloud and Product Security • Troubleshoot technical issues on the customer environment Requirements • 5+ years of SRE / DevOps Engineer experience • Experience working with Kubernetes, Gitops, Docker in Production systems is a must • Experience working with Linux systems - high level of scripting in Bash / Python • Experience with implementations in a SaaS/PaaS architectures • Understanding of microservices concepts • Experience with OpenShift operators • Experience working with helm • Experience with monitoring systems (Preferably Datadog) • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving capabilities • Experience working with MySQL and PostgreSQL • Motivated, service-oriented, fast learner, and independent • A team player, with excellent collaboration skills Upstream is an equal opportunity employer.
