Description
About the Role
Join us and take ownership of the systems behind our online gaming platforms.
This hands-on DevOps and SRE role allows you to drive meaningful reliability and automation improvements across a complex production environment, working with established applications, modern container platforms, and hybrid infrastructure.
You’ll own application operations, delivery, and reliability across production and QA environments spanning Windows and Linux servers, IIS applications, Kubernetes workloads, AWS, and on-premises infrastructure. Working closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams, you’ll investigate failures across service dependencies, improve deployment and configuration workflows, and turn recurring operational tasks into dependable automation.
You’ll also help shape practical AI adoption in operations. Use AI tools to accelerate investigation, scripting, and knowledge sharing, and build internal automation through agents, Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations, and reusable skills—all with human oversight, validation, and a clear rollback path for production changes.
What you'll be doing
• Own application operations across production and QA, including deployments, configuration, service health, incident investigation, and recovery.
• Troubleshoot distributed systems end-to-end, tracing requests across APIs, Windows services, IIS, Kubernetes, message queues, caches, and databases.
• Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and release workflows, with reliable validation, environment configuration, and rollback procedures.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash, and Ansible to reduce manual work and configuration drift.
• Operate Windows Server, IIS, and Windows services alongside Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes workloads in hybrid environments.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, and root cause analysis through application logs, metrics, and distributed tracing, including New Relic.
• Deliver controlled production changes and investigate recurring incidents to prevent repeat failures.
• Apply AI-assisted workflows to practical operational problems and build internal tools with appropriate access controls and review.
• Document service dependencies and runbooks, share knowledge, and lead improvements from investigation through implementation.
