About the Role
The Finance team ensures our financial operations and infrastructure scale at the same rapid pace as our global business. We manage complex multi-entity operations, cross-border payroll, and rigorous compliance across diverse international markets.
At our core, we build and maintain the engine that keeps our global workforce seamlessly supported and financially compliant. That means executing precise local and international payroll cycles, maintaining spotless general ledger entries, and managing relationships with global payroll partners. As we expand across continents, quality, reliability, and attention to detail aren't just nice to have—they're everything.
We are looking for a high-energy, experienced Payroll Manager to own local payroll operations and oversee our global payroll ecosystem. You will be a key player at the intersection of Finance and HR, balancing hands-on Israeli payroll management with international entity controls in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
What You’ll Do
• Lead end-to-end monthly Israeli payroll processing, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely execution using Hashavim / Hilan systems.
• Supervise global payroll operations, international pay stations, and global entities using Papaya Global and international PEO/EOR solutions (e.g., ADP, TriNet).
• Perform thorough global payroll audits, controls, and reconciliations across all international pay stations to ensure local accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare, calculate, and post monthly payroll journal entries, accruals, liabilities, and social benefit allocations into the general ledger.
• Manage and update pension and benefit-related payroll data in close collaboration with our pension insurance broker, performing ongoing reconciliations.
• Collect, review, validate, and update employee payroll records for new hires, role changes, and terminations, including Form 161 and severance calculations.
• Review and process attendance, vacation, sick leave, and absence data, ensuring full alignment between HR systems and payroll engines.
• Handle regulatory annual forms and tax filings, including Forms 101 and 106.
• Partner closely with HR, Finance, and external global payroll providers to streamline workflows and drive continuous process improvements.
• Identify discrepancies or complex payroll issues, investigate root causes, and resolve them efficiently while maintaining exceptional employee service orientation.
