Description
Service Desk Specialist
We are looking for a hands-on Service Desk Specialist to serve as the primary IT focal point at our new site. This position combines Service Desk support with local IT infrastructure ownership.
You will support employees, maintain workplace technology, troubleshoot systems and connectivity, manage incidents, and coordinate with central IT teams.
The role combines end-user support with local systems and infrastructure responsibilities, including:
• Providing on-site and remote technical support
• Installing and troubleshooting computers, software, printers, and meeting-room equipment
• Supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory, permissions, MFA, DNS, DHCP, and NAC
• Troubleshooting local networks, switches, Wi-Fi, and connectivity
• Managing incidents and service requests through our ticketing system
• Supporting employee onboarding, offboarding, IT assets, and documentation
• Coordinating escalations and infrastructure activities with central IT teams
• Managing an extensive VMware virtual environment
• Maintaining backups and replications and safeguarding company data
Requirements
