We are seeking an Experienced ATE Engineer with extensive hands-on experience supporting high-volume manufacturing (Mass Production) environments, automated test systems, and global manufacturing operations.
This role requires proven expertise in troubleshooting complex technical issues, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, production efficiency, and operational stability. Strong system-level understanding across hardware, software, automation, and manufacturing processes, with a demonstrated ability to optimize test performance, reduce downtime, improve KPIs, and support manufacturing sites throughout the product lifecycle.
This position includes regularly providing on-site support to international manufacturing locations, including quarterly business travel, ensuring rapid issue resolution and successful process deployment.
What will your job look like?
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Support, maintain, and optimize Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems.
• Provide ongoing support for high-volume production lines and manufacturing operations.
• Perform complex troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of production and test-related failures.
• Investigate and resolve system-level issues across hardware, software, automation, and manufacturing domains.
• Drive process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and production throughput.
• Monitor and analyze production performance, yield, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop and implement automation, monitoring, and reporting tools.
• Collaborate closely with Software, Hardware, Integration, Quality, and Production teams.
All you need is:
• B.S.c in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Extensive experience in Mass Production and manufacturing support environments.
• Proven experience working with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and production test systems.
• Strong Python skills for automation, debugging, data analysis, and test tool development.
• Strong troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Broad system-level understanding and the ability to investigate complex multidisciplinary issues.
• Experience driving process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis, at least once per quarter, to support manufacturing sites and critical production activities.
• Experience with Automotive, RF, or Radar-based systems - advantage
• Experience supporting global manufacturing sites - advantage
• Familiarity with MATLAB and data analysis tools - advantage
• Experience with JIRA and issue-tracking systems - advantage
