Hardware FW Licensing Manager

We are looking for Elbit Systems is looking for a Hardware & Firmware Certification Manager to join our sites in Modiin and Haifa. In this role you will Lead civil certification processes for hardware and firmware in civil aviation in accordance with the DO-254 standard across the company and subcontractors Support the development of innovative civil and military aircraft and UAV projects Lead and represent certification activities with civil and military aviation authorities and leading aerospace industries abroad Lead flight permit approvals and certification activities for aircraft and UAV systems Manage certification processes across multiple organizational interfaces Define and characterize certification requirements, processes, and required documentation Review and guide engineering reports for regulatory approval Participate in safety committees and global standardization groups in the field of aircraft and UAV systems Requirements B.Sc. degree in Aeronautical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Systems Engineering At least 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer / Hardware Engineer / Firmware Engineer / Technical Manager At least 3 years of experience in matrix management and working with engineering interfaces and external customers Experience as a Certification Manager - Advantage Experience working with civil or military aviation authorities - Advantage Familiarity with aviation certification and airworthiness standards - Advantage High proficiency in Hebrew and English, additional languages such as Spanish / French / German - Advantage Ability to work under multiple tasks, lead interfaces, and perform under programmatic pressure *Only relevant applications will be answered #Modiin-Maccabim–Reut #Haifa
